Nowadays video games are
becomimg popular leisure activity for all ages, especially children. They spend
a lot of their time to play these games. And, also video gaming is the multi-billioen
dollar which gives more profit than movie and DVD. They are becoming more
sophisticated and realistic. Some games are connected to the internet and
players can play online with their friends and even unknown players.
There are some bad factors of
violent computer games: killing people and animals, drugs and alcohol, bad
behaviour, not respecting authority and laws and so on. Research have shown
that children and teens are becoming “immune” and numb to such kind of games,
imitate vialence as they play and see, accept this violence as a solution to
their problems.
Some people claim that video
games are good for children. They say violent games increaese eye-hand
condition. Also such kind of games create peoples ability to be winner.
There are some problems
which can be caused by violent games. They are luck of social skills, time away
from friends and family, becoming overweight and aggressive behaviour.
